Sanctioning

We have been assigned the authority to apply sanctions for the following violations:

• Very serious violations:
  • Failure to comply with the resolutions established and precautionary measures specified by the CNMC when exercising functions related to electronic communications.
  • Serious failure by an operator to comply with the obligations to which it is subject on the subject of access, interconnection, and operability.
  • Serious failure to comply with the characteristics and conditions established on the subject of portability.
• Serious violations:
  • Refusal to allow an inspection, or obstruction or refusal to cooperate with an inspection in progress.
  • Late or incomplete compliance with resolutions established or precautionary measures specified by the CNMC.
  •  Failure by an operator to comply with the obligations to which it is subject on the subject of access, interconnection, and operability.
  • Failure by an operator to comply with the obligations to which it is subject on the subject of access, interconnection, and operability.
  •  Failure to comply with the characteristics and conditions established on the subject of portability.
• Minor violations:
  • Failure to provide the data requested by the CNMC, or unjustified delays in providing it, when such information can be requested according to the regulatory legislation.
