Energy Circulars
We issue circulars for the development and implementation of energy regulations, in the aspects outlined in Article 7 of Law 3/2013, including the approval of the methodology for the approval of gas and electricity network tariffs, the remuneration methodology for installations, and methodologies related to access and connection conditions, including international connections.
We also issue information request circulars for the development of supervision and control functions in the energy sector.
CNMC circulars are issued following a hearing process and with criteria of economic efficiency, transparency, objectivity, and non-discrimination.

Schedule for the Development of Regulatory Circulars
The CNMC annually publishes a forecast of regulatory circulars that may impact energy policy aspects and whose processing is expected to begin the following year, in accordance with the provisions of Royal Decree-Law 1/2019.
